"My grandpa always told me to stay away from politics. It was interesting to speak another language when so many do not. I remember I ate very different food from friends - no pizza takeout, more Borscht, Kakletki and Pilaf.

I believe education is vital to succeed in life. To quote my grandfather, 'They can take your legs, your arms, your rights. But they cannot take your education.'
