"As the son of Ecuadorian immigrants, I grew up with a family that started off as working class. While things were not always perfect, being a second-generation American means I get to pave the way to success for others like me.

I wanted independence from my parents and family overall. Focusing on self-development for the past 4 years allows me to be a Sebastian, as opposed to being another Donoso. Hispanics are very collectivistic and sadly my way of thinking is looked down upon. But I personally think to help others through hard times, one cannot compromise their own aspirations to do so. Help yourself to be in a better state to help others."
